Erdogan states his nation is starting new era
(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Sunday that his country is entering a new era as the vision of the “Century of Türkiye” starts to materialize.
“A new era is dawning for our country. Step by step, we are turning our vision of the Century of Türkiye into reality,” Erdogan stated during the Justice and Development (AK) Party’s 32nd Consultation and Evaluation Meeting held in Ankara.
Over the two-day event, a broad array of topics was discussed, including foreign policy, security, and the economy. A key focus was the progress made toward achieving a “terror-free Türkiye” and the upcoming steps in this effort.
Regarding the fight against terrorism, Erdogan said, “We see that our messages, which reassure our friends and brothers while instilling fear in our adversaries and rivals, are reaching their target.”
He added, “we are on the verge of completely freeing our nation from the shackles of terrorism that imposed upon it 47 years ago,” emphasizing that “we have already begun to see concrete signs of this.”
