Putin urges Russia’s allies to discuss recent worldwide model of growth
“Russia invites its partners to participate in shaping a new global growth model that will foster prosperity for our nations and ensure the stable development of the entire world for many years to come,” Putin stated. He highlighted the Open Dialogue held earlier this year in Moscow, titled ‘The Future of the World: A New Platform for Global Growth,’ which gathered representatives from over 100 countries. Putin said Russia plans to make this dialogue a regular event and develop a full ecosystem for discussing, refining, and implementing innovative ideas.
Putin underscored that contemporary global challenges require collective action, asserting that no country can solve these problems alone or at the expense of others. He stressed that collaborative efforts through groups like BRICS and other international forums are essential for advancing global civilization.
The Open Dialogue, hosted in April at the RUSSIA National Center, attracted over 100 participants from 48 countries who focused on four key areas: investment in human capital, technology, the environment, and communication.
Reflecting on the initiative during SPIEF, Maksim Oreshkin, deputy head of Putin’s administration, noted the global attention the dialogue has drawn, saying, “Through such an Open Dialogue, our future and our collective understanding of it are being shaped.”
