Musk hints Trump could be in Epstein records
(MENAFN) Elon Musk has openly questioned the decision not to make public the documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein, hinting that President Donald Trump might be among those named in the unreleased files.
Responding to a post from a prediction platform claiming there is a “100% chance” Trump appears in the documents, Musk replied on X: “That is a high level of confidence.”
As Trump continues to resist mounting calls—even from within his base—for the files to be disclosed, Musk, who once served in a senior advisory role during the Trump administration, commented, “we were all told that the list was going to be released.”
Musk also voiced skepticism regarding the handling of the Epstein case, stating: “Not a single Epstein client has been prosecuted. Not even one.” He went on to challenge Trump’s claim that the Epstein controversy is merely a “hoax,” adding, “Wow, amazing that Epstein 'killed himself' and Ghislaine is in federal prison for a hoax,” referencing Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate.
The U.S. Department of Justice reaffirmed this week that Epstein’s death in 2019 was ruled a suicide and reiterated that there is no official “client list.”
This stance has ignited tensions among Trump’s supporters, some of whom now see the refusal to release the documents as a betrayal. Pressure for transparency has intensified, especially after Attorney General Pam Bondi said in February that the list was “sitting on my desk right now.”
In response, Trump urged his followers to move past the issue, warning that their focus on it could play into what he claimed is a strategy by political opponents.
