Syria Declares Ceasefire Deal in Suwayda
According to an official state news service, and quoting a representative from the Interior Ministry, the agreement includes placing security inspection points throughout the city and restoring full control of Suwayda under the Syrian government's authority.
The fighting reportedly began after both the Druze and Bedouin groups confiscated vehicles from one another, escalating tensions into open conflict.
The Interior Ministry of Syria reported that the clashes resulted in the deaths of over 30 individuals and left close to 100 others wounded.
