Provided by AGPIn the first incident, two men—one in his 20s and another in his 30s—were killed at the scene after a two-vehicle crash on the N15 in Birchhill on Saturday afternoon.
The collision occurred shortly after 14:00 local time in Birchhill, an area between Donegal Town and Ballybofey. Four other people were injured, though their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Those injured include a man and a woman in their 20s and a man and a woman in their 40s.
They are being treated at Letterkenny University Hospital, while the road remains closed as An Garda Síochána carry out a scene examination.
Later the same day, a separate single-vehicle crash took place on the R238 at Ardmore, Muff, involving a man in his 20s who was the driver and sole occupant of the car. He was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital in County Londonderry, where he later died.
According to reports, investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
